Representing some of the best local and regional artists on a full time basis, as well as others from England and Russia, the gallery specializes in original artwork. Exhibitions are mounted on a monthly basis in a separate room. Images from each exhibit are posted on the gallery website, www.peninsula-gallery.com. A distinguished custom framing, art and frame conservation and interior design consultation service is also offered.

On show during May is "Ordinary/Extraordinary" an exhibit by five artists who each invite the viewer to make the connection between the taking of an ordinary image or idea and transforming it into an extraordinary painting. The goal is to give the viewer a different way to see the world. The question.....What do the artists convey and what do you see???

The exhibit opens on Saturday, April 30, with a reception to meet the artists and discuss their work, from 5-7 pm, and runs through May 25. The next exhibit will open on May 28.
