6:30 to 8:30pm, Rehoboth Beach Public Library, 226 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach. The Rehoboth Beach Public Library and the Rehoboth Beach Museum invite the public to join them at an event exploring the universe. The program, known as “Astronomy for Everyone: The Size and Scale of the Universe” is a family-friendly presentation that takes place both indoors and outside. First, participants are treated to an indoor multi-media presentation covering a virtual journey through the universe. Then, participants will move outside to the boardwalk to view the amazing rings of Saturn, craters of the moon and other jewels of the night sky through a powerful telescope, weather permitting.
