LA VIDA HOSPITALITY WEEKEND BENEFIT FOR VIRGIN ISLAND VICTIMS

Grapski, managing partner for La Vida Hospitality and its multiple businesses in Sussex County, invite the area’s residents and visitors to help support the Virgin Island’s victims of Hurricane Irma.  In what has been described as a humanitarian crisis, an account in the New York Times reports that 80 percent of its structures have been extensively damaged, and those who had not evacuated were huddling together in groups of up to 50 in buildings that now have no roofs.

In addition to this weekend’s benefit effort, Grapski  says that his group has also set up a special fundraising page that will benefit St. John Irma Relief Effort and Virgin Unite’s BVI Community Support Appeal.  For information go to:   https://fundly.com/virgin-islands-relief
