What Makes us Tick?

Cinema Art Theater, 17701 Dartmouth Drive, #2, Dartmouth Plaza, Lewes (behind Wawa). Presented by the Rehoboth Beach Film Society the What Makes Us Tick? program, an analytical film and discussion series that explores aspects of the human condition. This year’s theme is “Connections Across the Divide.”

The films in this series explore in various ways the question, “How can you hate me, when you don’t even know me?” From an unexpected truce in the early days of World War I; to a shared car ride by two decades-long enemies on opposite sides of the conflict in Ireland; to a black man who seeks out the unlikeliest of friends—white supremacists; these films challenge their subjects to look outside their preconceptions to see those they call their enemies for what they really are: fellow human beings.
