45th Annual Nanticoke Indian Powwow

10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 9 and 10, at 30045 Eagle Crest Road, Milton. at 30045 Eagle Crest Road, Milton.

Beloved festival features American Indian drummers and singers-40+ visiting tribes from across Indian country.  Also, authentic Indian arts and crafts, vendors, Nanticoke Indian Museum Tours, Sunday morning worship service. 

Members of the tribal community wish to share their voices, customs and traditions. While they request that people ask permission before taking photos of individuals, they very much encourage attendees to ask questions.

Grand entry will be held at noon both days. A church service is set for 8:30 to 10 a.m., Sunday.

Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children 11 to 17, and free to children under 10. Shuttles will be available in the parking lot to bring people to the entrance both days. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to enjoy the weekend.

 Hudson Fields of Milton will host the Nanticoke Indian Tribe’s 45th Annual Powwow from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 9 and 10, at 30045 Eagle Crest Road, Milton.
