"Ferries, Trains, and Automobiles: Getting to Rehoboth before the Bay Bridge," a two part series online with David McDonald. He will join the Rehoboth Beach Museum online to talk about the adventures of travel across the Chesapeake Bay before the construction of the William Preston Lane Memorial Bay Bridge. Mr. McDonald 's two-part series will focus on the period between 1912 and 1952 when the Bay Bridge opened.

Part one will cover the railroad coming to Rehoboth and the ferry-railroad network of the Queen Anne Railroad and its successor, the Maryland, Delaware and Virginia Railway through 1928 when passenger service to Rehoboth ended.
