“EDIE UNLEASHED” will bring the drag legend and Las Vegas showgirl to Blue Moon in Rehoboth Beach.

Best known for her role as the emcee in Cirque du Soleil’s long-running hit show “Zumanity” in Las Vegas, Edie performed more than 5,600 shows for over 6 million people during her tenure as host.

“Unleashed” is a high-energy, high-kicking semi-autobiographical look at a performer’s career through song, stories, comedy, videos and lots of dance. It’s part tribute to those who have inspired her including Liza, Ann Reinking and Barbra Streisand. It’s also a celebration of a career that led a young dancer from a professional ballet career with five companies to a tap company in New York City to her Broadway debut in the “The Threepenny Opera at Studio 54” to the host of “Zumanity” for 13 years, and all the gigs along the way.
