Friday events:
Pathways to Aviation Program geared towards high school freshmen and sophomores. This event takes place from 9 am until Noon at the Delaware Coastal Airport, Georgetown. The Pathways program will allow the students to visit with aviation related companies and schools, as well as visiting with aircraft on static display. Vendors already confirmed are: Aloft Aero, Ocean Aviation, Piedmont Airlines, Dover Air Force Base, Del Tech, UMES and NASA.

On Friday evening, open to the public is our Night in the Tropics Dinner show featuring dinner buffet from Mission BBQ and entertainment from local favorites, Cocktails at Three. The Kona Ice Truck will be available as will be Freebirds Mobile Bar. Doors will open at 5:30 with dinner at 6 pm and entertainment beginning at 7 pm. Cost of tickets are $50/each, with tables of 8 being reserved. Tickets are available by visiting www.georgetowncoc.com

Saturday is event day from 10 am until 4 pm and is family friendly. Come out to enjoy a large static display of WWII era aircraft, military and more, a huge classic car show, entertainment from Double Agent, USNA Parachute jumps, a pilot flour bombing competition, kids activities from the Precision Paintball Mobile Game Trailer,
Demonstrations by First State Skate, Face Painting by The Sandy Roost and Sand Art from Ray’s. There is a food court and craft, information and non-profit vendors which have things that all can enjoy.

Parking is $5/car and will be available at Sussex Academy with trams running a continuous loop to bring attendees to the airport. Trams will begin running at 9:30am. Roads leading into the airport (Railroad and Airport) will be closed to traffic at 9 am.
