It offers an opportunity for community members to celebrate the holiday season by decorating trees for children undergoing medical treatments at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, Last year, more than 60 trees were decorated, and $2,600 was raised for the families staying at the house. Families who received the donations noted that the effort brought them joy and comfort in a time of uncertainty and stress. For those who cannot attend, there are other ways to help. The Santa Level sponsorship is $50 and includes a name on display at the Ronald McDonald House. As a Santa’s Elf for $30, sponsors can support the purchase of decor and trees.
