The Lewes Historical Society

The Lewes Historical Society can trace its roots to a small group of concerned citizens who joined forces to establish the organization in 1962. Troubled by the loss of significant local structures and the deterioration of historic buildings, the group invited like-minded Lewes residents to join as members, a group that continues to grow each year. Lewes History Museum, which is located at 101 Adams Ave, next to the Lewes Library. It is also a part of the Lewes Historical Society.
