Join the Delaware Community Foundation (DCF) at the Cinema Art Theatre for the free screening of Freedom Writers, an American drama that tells the story of one dedicated teacher (Hilary Swank) in a racially divided Los Angeles school. Based on author, Erin Gruwell's book, Dear Freedom Writers, a young teacher inspires her class of at-risk teenagers deemed incapable of learning. The film also stars Patrick Demsey, Scott Glenn, and Imelda Staunton.
