Saturday, February 4: Polar Bear "Cake-Off" hosted by Special Olympics Delaware. The competition starts at 9am at Rehoboth Beach Convention Center. Winner will be chosen around 3pm. Come see 2010 "Next Great Baker" winner, Dana Herbert. Admission is free. Spectators can vote for their favorite cake for $1 donation to Special Olympics Delaware.
Sunday, February 5: 2012 Lewes Polar Bear Plunge, 1pm, Rehoboth Avenue and the Boardwalk, Rehoboth Beach. Part of the Weekend Festival that includes a 5k Run to the Plunge, Polar Bear Cake-Off, Ice Sculpting Demonstration, Restaurant Chili Contest, activities for children and so much more.
