The City of Rehoboth Beach has banned smoking on the beach and boardwalk. There are designated areas for smokers. Visitors should also be aware of the changed Nuisance-noise Law in effect.

Friday-Sunday, May 22-September 20:  Rehoboth Beach parking meters will be in effect.  All meters are $2.00 an hour.  To use the Parkmobile system, click here.

Saturday, September 5: Treasures From the Attic Sale  8:00am-3:00pm, power plant next to Greater Lewes Community Village, 225 Schley Avenue, Lewes. Donations are still being taken and are welcome. Proceeds from the sale will help build a scholarship fund for reduced-price memberships that are available to those who qualify. Saturday & Sunday, September 5 & 6:  Sundance 2015  Saturday and Sunday, The Super Magic Rainbow Glitter Ball will be held, Rehoboth Beach Convention Center. Saturday, 7-10pm with auction and cocktail buffet, which features an open bar, hors d'oeuvre spread and silent auction. Sunday, 8pm-2am, dancing. Benefit for CAMP Rehoboth. Sunday, September 6:  3rd Annual Summer’s End 5K at Jimmie’s Grill.  Starting (8:00am) and ending at Jimmy’s Grille located at 1911 Highway One, Dewey Beach. The post-race party includes great, down-home food including Jimmy’s chicken for all participants and beer for those over age 21. Registration is available online for this and other events at www.races2run.com  until Thursday prior to the run, and will open at 7:00am on day of the race. Cost is $25 in advance and $30 on race day. Race begins at 8:00 sharp.

Thursday, September 10:  Jolly Trolley Tour of Rehoboth Beach  Jolly Trolley Historical Rehoboth Tour, 9:00 am meeting at Anna Hazzard Museum, 17 Christian Street, Rehoboth Beach. Enjoy touring the town in the comfort of a Jolly Trolley vechicle and learning about the history of Rehoboth Beach. $10 -reservations are required. Call The Rehoboth Beach Historical Society at 302-227-7310.
