What's Happening In Rehoboth?

Saturday- Sunday,  March 15 - May 11:  Rehoboth Beach Museum's 4th Annual Needlework Exhibit. Programs will be held in conjunction with the exhibit, including a presentation on Amish quilts. Visit the website at, or call (302) 227-7310 for more information. The Museum is located at 511 Rehoboth Avenue, near the traffic circle and the Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center. Winter hours are Monday and Friday from 10 to 4 and Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 3.

Thursday, April 17:  Apollo Space Suit Presentation  7 pm, Rehoboth Beach Museum features Bill Ayrey, of ILC Dover. Ayrey will discuss the development and manufacturing of the Apollo space suits. In addition during the presentation he will talk about current space suits used on the International Space Station, as well as, projects that include the air bags that cushioned the landing of the Mars rovers. Reservations are required. Admission is $5 for non-members and free to Rehoboth Beach Historical Society members.  Please call the museum at 302-227-7310. The Museum is located at 511 Rehoboth Avenue next to the Visitor Center. Parking is available and the Museum is handicapped accessible. Museum hours are Monday and Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Friday, April 18:  Delaware Kite Festival  Held Good Friday at Cape Henlopen State Park, Lewes. Details at:

Friday & Saturday, April 18 & 19: Delaware Music Festival  Delaware Music Festival features 35 bands all from Delaware on 4 stages at the Rusty Rudder. This event is free to the public. Information,  

Saturday, April 19:  "La Boheme"  The Rehoboth Beach Film Society and Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation present the Metropolitan Opera’s Live in HD broadcast of Puccini’s moving opera “La Bohème”  at 12:55 pm at the Cape Henlopen High School’s theater, Lewes.  Admission for The Met: Live in HD broadcasts is $22 for a Met member, $25 for adult, $22 for Senior (65+), $15 for Student (with ID), $15 for a child (12 and under). Seating is on a first come, first-serve basis (no reserved seats). The doors will open at 12:30 pm and there will be two intermission breaks during the live broadcast.
