The City of Rehoboth Beach has banned smoking on the beach and boardwalk. There are designated areas for smokers. Visitors should also be aware of the changed Nuisance-noise Law in effect.

Friday-Sunday, May 22-September 20:  Rehoboth Beach parking meters will be in effect.  All meters are $2.00 an hour.  To use the Parkmobile system, click here.

Saturday, August 1:  37th Annual Sand Castle Contest  The contest takes place at Fisherman's Beach at the north end of the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk.  Registration begins at 8:30am and judging begins at 3pm.  Tons of great prizes! Info: www.beach-fun.com or call 302-227-2233.

Saturday, August 1:  Lewes Historical Society Hosts 52nd Outdoor Antiques Show   9:00am-4:00pm, Lewes Historic Complex, 110 Shipcarpenter Street, Lewes. Nearly 60 high quality dealers participate in the show that features 18th century to early 20th century antiques. Visit www.historiclewes.org or call 302-645-7670 for more information.

Saturday, August 1:  Boats, Buttons, Beans and Beer! Walking + Brewery Tour  9:30 am, entrance to Dogfish Head Brewery, Milton. Tour (which is 11/2 hours long) begins and ends at the brewery and includes a 45 minute walk around the historic town. Reservations required. Info: 684-1010 or visit  www.historicmilton.org.

Saturday, August 1:  Dewey Beach Scavenger Hunt  Noon-8:00pm. The craziest scavenger hunt ever created, returns to the wildest beach town on the east coast! The Dewey Beach Scavenger Hunt is part pub tour, and part Amazing Race…Teams of 4-8 people, dressed in costume, will roam Dewey trying to complete as much of the Hunt as possible.  Click here for more information. 

Saturday, August 1:  American Rogues at Cape Henlopen State Park  7:00pm, Cape Henlopen State Park park parade field, Lewes.  The American Rogues creatively combine the worlds of Celtic, Rock, Pop, Folk, and Classical music. Enjoy a fun-filled night of outside entertainment at Cape Henlopen State Park. Registration is recommended by calling (302)-645-6852.
