The City of Rehoboth Beach has banned smoking on the beach and boardwalk. There are designated areas for smokers.

Thursday, May 7:  Photo Identification Night  7:00pm, Rehoboth Beach Museum, 511 Rehoboth Avenue. Staff will pull out photos in the Rehoboth Beach Historical Society archive and participants will try to identify the people in them. The public is invited to come out, enjoy light refreshments and help identify the places and people in those pictures. Long-time residents are especially welcome. Reservations are necessary as space is limited. Please call (302) 227-7310 to save a spot. $5 suggested donation. Friday-Sunday, May 8-10:  "Little Women": The Musical  Friday & Saturday-7:00pm, Sunday-3:00pm, Clear Space Theatre, 20 Baltimore Avenue, Rehoboth Beach. This timeless and captivating story is brought to life in a glorious musical filled with personal discovery, heartache, hope and everlasting love. Saturday, May 9:  Spring Surf-fishing Tournament 7:00am-3:00pm, Delaware Seashore State Park, south of Dewey Beach. $25, free for children 15 and under (must still be registered). Saturday & Sunday, May 9 & 10: First Rites of Summer 2015 Volley Ball Tournament  Saturday (Check-in between 7:45 and 8:30AM at Atlantic Jewelery Shop on Laurel and the Boardwalk), Sunday (Check-in between 7:45 and 8:30AM at Atlantic Jewelery Shop on Laurel and the Boardwalk), Rehoboth Beach. On-Line Registration deadline Wednesday May 6th at 6:00pm. Registration/Walk-up fee: $15 per team. Hosted by Mid-Atlantic Volleyball.

Wednesday, May 13:  Read a Movie: "High Noon"  4-6pm, upstairs community room, Rehoboth Beach Public Library, Rehoboth Avenue. The film, “High Noon" is based on the short story, ”The Tin Star” by John W. Cunningham, and is listed as 27th on the American Film Institute’s 2007 list of greatest American films of all times. Free. Part of Rehoboth Beach Film Society's 'Read a Movie' series.
