The City of Rehoboth Beach smoking ban will go into effect on May 15, 2014.
 PARKING METERS IN EFFECT: MAY 23-SEPTEMBER 14, 2014

Cruisin’ Exhibit is open at the Rehoboth Beach Museum  Cruisin’ is an exhibit hosted by the Rehoboth Beach Museum that celebrates the historical perspective and joy of playing with toys on wheels. The Museum’s summer hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The museum is located at 511 Rehoboth Avenue. Admission is by donation. Wednesday, August 27:  Milton Free Summer Concert Series, 7pm at the park in Milton. Big Hat No Cattle will present country swing tunes. Thursday, August 28:  Cinema by the Surf The 2014 Cinema By the Surf summer outdoor film series concludes with ”Frozen” starting at dusk (8:15 – 8:30 pm) at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand. This film series for all ages is sponsored by the Rehoboth Beach Film Society and the City of Rehoboth Beach. This event is free to the public. Seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Thursday, August 28:  March of Dimes' The Farmer and the Chef-South,  5:30-8:30pm, Baywood Greens, Longneck. Benefits the March of Dimes. The event celebrates community, healthy eating and fosters relationship building. Click here for more information and/or tickets.
 
Friday, August 29:  Lewes History Happy Hour, 4:00pm, Hotel Rodney, 142 Second Street, Lewes. Mike DiPaolo will present "50th Anniversary of the Cape May-Lewes Ferry."  Hear about the history of the Cape-May Lewes Ferry as it leads to its 50th Anniversary in 2014. During the presentation, a glass of wine will be served by Rose & Crown.  Doors open at 3:30pm. Limited seating is available; therefore, this program is first-come, first-served. 
 
Saturday, August 30:  Treasures From the Attic Sale, 8:00am-3:00pm, power plant next to Greater Lewes Community Village, 225 Schley Avenue, Lewes. Donations are still being taken and are welcome. Proceeds from the sale will help build a scholarship fund for reduced-price memberships that are available to those who qualify.
