Saturday- Sunday, March 15 - May 11: Rehoboth Beach Museum's 4th Annual Needlework Exhibit. Programs will be held in conjunction with the exhibit, including a presentation on Amish quilts. Visit the website at www.rehobothbeachmuseum.org, or call (302) 227-7310 for more information. The Museum is located at 511 Rehoboth Avenue, near the traffic circle and the Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center. Winter hours are Monday and Friday from 10 to 4 and Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 3.
Friday, April 25: "The Other Son" 7:00 pm, Upstairs Screening Room, Movies at Midway, Rehoboth Beach. Rehoboth Beach Film Society's Monthly Screening Series presentation. $4 for Society members (current membership card must be presented), and $6 for future members. Saturday, April 26: Delaware Goes to War Re-Enactment 10am – 4pm, Fort Miles Historic Area (map), Cape Henlopen State Park, Lewes. Step back in time with re-enactors in period uniforms. See firing demonstrations and combat exercises and learn about garrison life here during World War II. For more information, call (302) 644-5007. Saturday, April 26: "Cosi fan tutte" The Rehoboth Beach Film Society and Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation present the Metropolitan Opera’s Live in HD broadcast of Mozart’s beloved opera “Così fan tutte” at 12:55 pm at the Cape Henlopen High School’s theater, Lewes. Admission for The Met: Live in HD broadcasts is $22 for a Met member, $25 for adult, $22 for Senior (65+), $15 for Student (with ID), $15 for a child (12 and under). Seating is on a first come, first-serve basis (no reserved seats). The doors will open at 12:30 pm and there will be one intermission break during the live broadcast. Saturday, April 26: 1st Annual Dewey Beach Bacon Fest The 2014 Dewey Beach Bacon Fest will be be starting at 1:00pm ending approximately 4:00pm. Guests will tour participating businesses and taste amazing bacon inspired samples. Registration will be in the iDewey Store from 8:00am-12:30pm. Tickets at www.iDewey.com.
