every Tuesday, May 7-October 29 Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market runs every Tuesday, 12-3pm in Grove Park, rain or shine. Hours after Oct 1 are noon-3pm. Friday-Saturday, March 1-November 30 Delaware State Parks fees in effect. Residents pay $4 for ocean parks and $3 for inland parks. Nonresidents pay $8 for the coastal parks and $6 for inland parks. At Cape Henlopen State Park, you can fish free from the pier. Annual passes are available for $27 for residents. These allow you to visit any park as many times as you like. Monday, December 9 30th Annual Caroling on The Circle, 6:30pm, Georgetown. The historic Sussex County Courthouse on the Circle will serve as the backdrop for an evening of traditional and Spanish carols, as wells a visit from Santa Claus. Following the festivities, free cookies and hot chocolate will be available at the Georgetown Volunteer Fire Company. The event is free. Participants are asked to bring nonperishable food items for donation.

The Rehoboth Beach Film Society and the Rehoboth Beach Public Library invite film and literary enthusiasts to a screening of “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,”  beginning at 4:00 pm in the upstairs community room at the Rehoboth Beach Public Library. Adapted from the 1920s short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” is about a man who is born in his eighties and ages backwards. This screening is part of the monthly “Read a Movie” series in which audience members are invited to read a short story in advance of the screening, and then gather to watch the film version and engage in lively discussion about how the film compares to its original inspiration. The popular “Read a Movie” series meets on the second Wednesday, September – May, at the Rehoboth Beach Public Library. After the film is screened, viewers will share thoughts about how the translation of the story faired when expanded to the big screen. The “Read a Movie” series is open to the public and is free. Saturday, December 14 Milton Holly Festival, 9am-3pm, Milton Fire Department Station 85 116 Front Street. The Milton Chamber of Commerce sponsors this annual holiday event which includes many Milton organizations joining in to bring visitors a spectacular day in historic Milton! The Holly Festival features  many fine hand crafts in the Fire Hall and in Goshen Hall. Santa will be in town for little ones. A holly wreath-making demonstration is offered at the Historical Society Museum. Saturday, December 14 'A Night in Italy', 6pm, Bellmoor Inn & Spa, 6 Christian St., Rehoboth Beach. Paul Cullen will host the event, which pairs four dishes from Italy’s regions with matching wines, and is no ordinary cooking class. Think of it as a tasting and a show. Cullen, the former bassist for the rock group Bad Company, is a talented guitarist. Between courses, he’ll play music, so guests can experience both the taste and the sounds of the Mediterranean. The cost is $55, which includes a tasting of everything Cullen makes and wine. Join us to learn more about: breast cancer, financial issues, your diagnosis and treatment, available support programs and other available resources.
